Service Description: ODOT's Adjusted Urbanized Areas are US Census Urban Area boundaries expanded through a cooperative process by responsible state and local officials. Urbanized boundaries are used to determine a roadway’s functional class, federal aid eligibility, and speed limit transition points, in accordance with 23 U.S.C. 101 and O.R.C 4511.21.
